iGoWise Mobility Secures ₹8.2 Crore Pre-Seed Funding to Accelerate Smart Electric Trike Development

Bengaluru-based iGoWise Mobility (iGo), a developer of intelligent electric trikes, has raised ₹8.2 crore in a pre-seed funding round from investors including ISB Angels, 888VC, and Guptaji VC.

The company plans to channel the fresh capital into tooling and automation to lower production costs, expanding after-sales and customer experience networks, advancing R&D for new variants, and strengthening working capital to meet its growing order pipeline.

Founded in 2020 by Sravan K Appana, iGoWise Mobility is building rugged and versatile EV platforms designed for both urban India and rural markets. Its first product, the BeiGo Rugged Utility Vehicle, is a pickup-style electric trike aimed at bridging the gap between two-wheelers and high-cost commercial vehicles. The trike is powered by the company’s patented anti-topple leaning technology, which enhances handling, cornering stability, and ride comfort.

Backed by over 1 lakh km of real-world usage data across varied terrains, iGo is preparing to scale operations. In the next 12–18 months, it intends to launch 1,500 trikes with fleet partners such as Hala Mobility and Elektric Express, expanding into Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Panjim.

According to the startup, its proprietary TwiiGo lightEV automobile platform makes the trikes 5X more cost-effective, 3X more energy-efficient, and 2X more compact compared to global alternatives. Features include on-demand self-balancing, triple-disc anti-skid CBS brakes, and robust suspension systems, enabling smooth navigation over potholes, steep slopes, and dense traffic.

The company claims that riders upgrading to iGo’s trikes can not only save on fuel but also increase their monthly earnings by up to ₹7,500. With its debut product gearing up for launch within the next 32 months, iGoWise Mobility is positioning itself to disrupt the EV utility vehicle market, competing with players such as Zen Mobility, Vaidyuthi Mobility, and Speedloop Auto.
