Global Fintech Fest 2025 to Host Indian PM Narendra Modi and UK PM Keir Starmer in Mumbai

The world’s largest fintech gathering, the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025, is set for a landmark edition as it welcomes two of the most influential leaders of our time — Honourable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom The Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer. The mega event will take place from October 7–9, 2025 at the Jio World Centre, Mumbai.

GFF 2025 will bring together the biggest names in the financial ecosystem, with over 100,000 attendees, 7,500+ companies, 800+ speakers, and 400+ exhibitors expected. The conference is being organised by the Payments Council of India (PCI), the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), and the Fintech Convergence Council (FCC), with the support of key ministries, regulators, and international financial authorities.

Highlighting this year’s theme, “Empowering Finance for a Better World Powered by AI”, the conference will explore the evolving intersection of human insight and technological intelligence. Discussions will span financial inclusion, sustainable innovation, regulatory collaboration, and the future of digital public infrastructure.

Kris Gopalakrishnan, Chairman of the GFF 2025 Advisory Council, noted that the presence of both Prime Ministers would provide unique guidance for shaping a more inclusive, agile, and resilient global financial landscape. He emphasised the strong fintech synergy between India and the UK — combining India’s digital scale with London’s leadership in financial innovation.

Sohini Rajola, Executive Director – Growth at NPCI, added that GFF 2025 will spotlight augmented intelligence, showcasing how the fusion of technology and human wisdom can create solutions that are responsible, impactful, and globally relevant.

Beyond discussions, attendees can expect live showcases of AI-powered innovations, a Bharat AI Experience Zone curated by NPCI and NVIDIA, hackathons, fintech awards, and exclusive networking forums.

Global regulators including the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Deutsche Bundesbank, Banque de France, and FINMA will also participate. Indian leaders such as Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and heads of the RBI and SEBI will headline sessions.

With policy makers, innovators, and investors converging, GFF 2025 is positioned to not just showcase fintech innovations, but to shape the trajectory of global finance in the AI era.
