TERN Group Raises $24 Million to Scale Global Healthcare Talent Mobility Platform

TERN Group, a global talent mobility platform for healthcare workers, has raised $24 million in Series A funding led by Notion Capital, with participation from RTP Global, LocalGlobe, EQ2 Ventures, Leo Capital, and existing backers including Presight, Tom Stafford (Co-founder, DST Global), and senior healthcare policymakers. This brings the company’s total funding to $33 million.

Founded by Avinav Nigam and Krishna Ramkumar, former executives at Urban Company and Cars24, TERN helps Indian nurses and care workers pursue international careers through transparent hiring, AI-driven matching, and a zero-fee recruitment model.

The fresh capital will support TERN’s expansion into new geographies, scaling of its AI-powered Clinical Workforce platform, and strengthening of its training operations.

TERN has seen remarkable growth, reporting a 10x increase in the past year and nearing ₹200 crore in annualised revenue. The platform now operates across 13 countries, including India, the UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, and has onboarded over 650,000 professionals.

The company also partners with NSDC, TNAI, and state governments to expand training programs and ensure compliance.

With competitors like AMN Healthcare and MedPro International in the global healthcare staffing market, TERN is positioning itself as a key player in bridging workforce gaps while supporting professionals in achieving global career opportunities.
