C.E. Info Systems Limited (MapmyIndia) has completed the acquisition of an additional stake in Gtropy Systems Pvt. Ltd., strengthening its control over the telematics and IoT solutions provider.
According to the company’s stock exchange filing, MapmyIndia acquired 43,759 equity shares at Rs 5,713 per share, amounting to Rs 24.99 crore. With this, its stake in Gtropy has risen from 76% to 96% (fully diluted), effectively making Gtropy a wholly owned subsidiary.
The acquisition is part of MapmyIndia’s broader strategy to deepen its presence in connected mobility and telematics, where Gtropy provides advanced fleet management, IoT, and GPS tracking solutions. This integration is expected to strengthen MapmyIndia’s offering of integrated mapping, geospatial, and IoT-based platforms for enterprises, logistics firms, and mobility players.
Earlier disclosed on August 7, 2025, the transaction has now been completed.
Financially, MapmyIndia posted Q1 FY26 revenue of Rs 122 crore, up 21% YoY from Rs 101 crore in Q1 FY25. Net profit grew 28% YoY to Rs 46 crore, while EBITDA stood at Rs 68 crore.
Separately, MapmyIndia also invested Rs 25 crore in Zepto earlier this month, acquiring a 0.049% stake to strengthen its footprint in quick commerce.
As of the latest trading session, MapmyIndia shares were priced at Rs 1,646, giving the company a market cap of Rs 9,007 crore ($1 billion).
