Jio Blast Esports, the joint venture between Reliance’s Jio Platforms and Denmark’s Blast ApS, has appointed William Vaz as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
A seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience, William will oversee financial strategy, governance, and operational efficiency as the company strengthens its position in India’s rapidly growing esports ecosystem.
Currently serving as CFO at JioAds, William has held senior finance roles across major companies. He spent seven years at Dentsu Aegis Network as Director of Finance & Group Treasury, and a decade at Star India managing US GAAP reporting, Sox compliance, and project evaluation. His earlier stints include roles at Darashaw and L&T Finance.
At Jio Blast Esports, William will focus on financial planning, compliance, and automation, while enabling long-term value creation in an industry at the intersection of gaming, sports, and entertainment.
