Ex-Mooving Executive Launches TrusTerra to Build India’s Trusted Pre-Owned EV Market

In a move set to redefine India’s electric mobility ecosystem, Tanvir Singh, former top executive and co-founder of Mooving, has launched TrusTerra, a platform focused on trust, standardisation, and liquidity in the pre-owned EV market. He is joined by co-founders Saurabh Arora, Madhu Reddy, and Chanakya Agarwal.

Despite India’s EV sector projected to cross 10 million annual sales by 2030, resale penetration remains under 2%. TrusTerra aims to close this gap with data-driven assessment frameworks and AI-powered solutions.

At the heart of its offering is the TruEV Score – a proprietary AI-powered valuation tool that evaluates battery health, range consistency, and remaining useful life (RUL). Much like a credit score, it provides a trusted benchmark for buyers, dealers, and financiers.

Other offerings include:

  • TerraCash: Instant diagnostics + liquidity service for same-day bids and payouts.

  • TerraBid: Certified dealer auction marketplace with financing, warranties, and assured buyback options.

The startup has already engaged with EV OEMs, banks, NBFCs, insurers, and dealer networks to validate its scoring and diagnostics approach.

Initially targeting Delhi NCR, TrusTerra plans expansion to Bengaluru, Pune, and Hyderabad. It will cater to both B2C customers (individual owners, gig workers, buyers) and B2B clients (fleets, dealers, banks, leasing firms).

Over the next 3–5 years, the company aims to facilitate 1 million pre-loved EV transactions and reach a ₹500 crore market cap within its first two years.

“Used EVs are not a side market, they are the market,” said Tanvir Singh. “For India to electrify affordably, a trusted resale backbone is critical — and we are building that backbone.”
