Arivihan, a Bengaluru-based edtech startup focused on AI-driven personalized learning, has raised $4.17 million in a Pre-Series A funding round. The round was led by global investors Prosus and Accel, with additional participation from GSF Investors.
Founded in 2024 by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar, and Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan aims to bridge the education gap in India’s underserved regions. The platform delivers fully AI-powered coaching tailored to students in tier II cities and rural areas, offering interactive video lectures, real-time doubt-solving, and customized study plans generated by AI.
The fresh capital will be used to enhance Arivihan’s AI capabilities, expand its language offerings, and scale its marketing and distribution efforts across three additional Indian states. This follows the company’s earlier seed investment of $750,000 through the Accel Atoms program.
Currently catering to students preparing for Class 12 State Boards, CBSE, and NEET, Arivihan claims tangible academic results: over 150 students scoring above 90%, including four students in the state’s top 10, and a reported 42% performance improvement within just 30 days of joining the platform.
Arivihan is also growing its academic and product teams as it expands in India’s rapidly evolving edtech space. It competes with other personalized learning platforms such as ConveGenius, iPrep, Embibe, and Vedantu.
The funding marks a strong endorsement of AI’s transformative potential in Indian education, especially in making quality learning accessible beyond metro cities.
