Plenome Technologies Secures ₹6.5 Cr Seed Funding to Expand Blockchain-AI Solutions Globally

IIT Madras-incubated deeptech startup Plenome Technologies has raised ₹6.5 crore in a seed funding round led by Ovington Capital Partners (Luxembourg), with participation from UAE-based AADI and noted angel investor Manish Gandhi.

The funds will be deployed to fuel Plenome’s global expansion, as it scales its proprietary Blockchain-AI stack designed for high-stakes sectors such as healthcare, organ donation, and remote voting.

Founded by Prof. Prabhu Rajagopal—a Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award recipient—alongside Vijayaraja Rathinasamy and Anirudh Varna, Plenome is building a secure, scalable, and interoperable digital infrastructure for sensitive data ecosystems.

Among its flagship solutions:

  • BlockTrack OrganEase is currently in trial runs with a state organ transplant authority, aiming to revolutionize traceability and transparency in organ donation.

  • BlockVote, its blockchain-based remote voting platform, has already seen successful deployment at IIT Madras and is now being positioned for large-scale enterprise elections.

  • Ashwin, an AI-driven healthtech suite, is undergoing trials in dental clinics to enable multilingual, structured data capture. Expansion into eye care, cosmetic, and fertility verticals is underway.

Plenome’s technology stack integrates Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) at the backend with a smart AI front end, allowing seamless data creation, management, diagnostics, and analytics—while ensuring user control and data privacy at every step.

“We’re building the digital rails for future-ready, citizen-centric applications that demand the highest standards of privacy, security, and interoperability,” said Prof. Prabhu Rajagopal, Co-founder of Plenome Technologies.

The latest capital infusion marks a significant milestone in Plenome’s journey to commercialize and scale its solutions globally, especially in markets prioritizing secure digital health and governance infrastructure.
