FES Cafe Raises ₹3 Crore to Take Its Dessert-First Vibe Nationwide

Gurugram, July 3, 2025 – In a sweet turn of events for India’s cafe scene, dessert-led startup FES Cafe has secured ₹3 crore in a seed funding round led by Aakash Anand and his venture studio Wolfpack Labs. The brand, known for its eggless and indulgent dessert creations, is now gearing up for a major expansion—starting with a much-anticipated Delhi launch this July.

Founded by Vidur Mayor, FES Cafe is more than just a place to grab dessert—it’s carving out a niche as a vibrant “third space” for young Indians. Think gooey baked cookies, rich puddings, cakes made with alternative ingredients, and even seasonal dessert menus that change with the mood. Add to that a dose of arcade games and community-driven experiences like Coffee Raves, and you’ve got a cafe brand built around culture, creativity, and connection.

“We’re building something that’s not just about sugar rushes, but about community and comfort,” says Mayor. “The idea is to create a national brand rooted in indulgence and innovation, without losing that local, cultural flavour.”

And the numbers back it up.

Since its launch, FES Cafe has:

  • Tripled its revenue in just 3 months

  • Achieved 29.8% store-level EBITDA by the fourth month

  • Grown delivery revenue by 347% in 90 days

  • Hit 10,000+ monthly orders by June 2025

  • And turned EBITDA-positive at the company level—all within the first four months

With Delhi in its sights this July and a second Gurugram store launching in a corporate park this September, the brand is laying the groundwork for bigger things. The goal? 100+ stores across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities by FY 2027.

To support that growth, FES is also working on a hybrid COCO (Company Owned Company Operated) and FICO (Franchisee Invested Company Operated) model. The expansion will be complemented by delivery-first hubs and a line of packaged desserts designed to take the FES experience beyond its cafe walls.

For Aakash Anand and Wolfpack Labs, the investment isn’t just about the numbers. “FES Cafe is building a brand that speaks to a new generation of Indians—one that values experience, community, and joy,” Anand shared in a statement.

As India’s food and beverage landscape evolves, FES Cafe is clearly betting big on desserts, vibes, and a whole lot of flavour.
