In a significant move towards expanding its footprint in India’s digital healthcare space, Amazon India has announced the launch of Amazon Diagnostics, a new at-home diagnostic test service now available in six major cities.

The service—rolled out in partnership with health-tech startup Orange Health Labs—will allow customers to book lab tests, schedule appointments, track sample collection in real-time, and access digital test reports directly via the Amazon app.

According to the company’s press release, Amazon Diagnostics is now live in Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, covering over 450 PIN codes.

“This expansion strengthens the foundation of Amazon Medical by building on the existing services of Pharmacy and Clinic,” Amazon said in a statement.

The company added that this new offering will provide customers access to over 800 diagnostic tests, with doorstep sample collection available within 60 minutes of booking in select locations.

The launch marks a broader integration of Amazon’s healthcare offerings under the umbrella of Amazon Medical, which now consists of:

• Amazon Pharmacy: providing a wide range of prescription medications and healthcare products, along with free telemedicine consultations and delivery benefits for both Prime and non-Prime users.

• Amazon Clinic: enabling virtual consultations with licensed doctors for primary healthcare needs.

• Amazon Diagnostics: now offering convenient, at-home diagnostics through a seamless digital experience.

With this development, Amazon continues to push deeper into India’s fast-growing digital health space, aiming to offer comprehensive, tech-enabled healthcare solutions to millions of users.

The move aligns with the growing consumer demand for accessible, affordable, and reliable healthcare services—particularly in urban metros where convenience and speed are key.
